Gallows Road
Gallows Road, starring Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters) and Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) was released in 2016. It was a pleasure scoring this family film!
Please enjoy selections from the film here on the website under Video Demos!
Matrix
I pitched in to help prep music for The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions (Don Davis, composer). Sheldon Music founder Stan Sheldon was an inspiration and I'm grateful to have worked with him on his last gig before retirement. Highlights of working with Stan included recording sessions on the famous Newman stage at Fox Studios with a 96-piece orchestra.
The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green
Based on the hit underground comic strip, this hilarious, gay romantic comedy follows the story of Ethan Green, an adorable 26 year-old professional 'assistant' looking for love in all the wrong places. You can see a clip on this site under Demos.
Lure
In Bill McAdams Jr.'s directorial debut, an undercover female cop enters Belmont High as a transfer student, after several girls in the area go missing. While trying to assimilate in the school, she and her new friends are LURED into a place where they must fight for their lives.
Death & Texas
My feature film Death and Texas, screened during opening night at SXSW 2004 in Austin, TX. Writer/director Kevin DiNovis helmed the project, starring Charles Durning (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) and Steve Harris (ABC's The Practice, Minority Report).
Minoriteam
The Cartoon Network show Minoriteam, developed by Monkey Wrangler Productions, premiered Sunday, March 19, 2006 on [adult swim]. My contributions include Fasto's rap, 'The Standardized Test' villain theme, and a huge funk track for the 'Balactus' villain.

It's Always Christmas at Roy's Studio
Recent upgrades to sound libraries and software mean a higher degree of flexibility and realism in my orchestral compositions. It's amazing what sounds can come out of a computer these days. Look for new videos soon using the new toys. 100% of the music on this site was orchestrated and performed by Roy Firestone on his computer music workstation. There were no live players used on these recordings.
