ROY
FIRESTONE is an accomplished composer, conductor, and
performer of music for film, television, and multimedia. He
scored the feature films DEATH AND TEXAS, starring Charles
Durning (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) and Steve Harris (ABC's
The Practice, Minority Report) and THE MOSTLY UNFABULOUS
SOCIAL LIFE OF ETHAN GREEN, based on the hit underground comic
strip of the same name. Firestone assisted in music
preparation for The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions
(Don Davis, composer). TV: MINORITEAM on Cartoon Network's
[adult swim] and I'M WITH BUSEY on Comedy Central. Multimedia:
Original score for Department of Homeland Security video
"A Safer America" and a corporate theme song for ASM
International. Firestone has received professional training in
the Film Scoring programs of the Berklee College of Music and
UCLA Extension. Additionally, he serves as Musical Director
for the California Chamber Opera and is an active organist in
Los Angeles.
